I guess I agree with this statement because kindness is important and can lead you into greatness. Kindness can be a reason for greatness. If you think about it, most people get hired because they are kind.

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving Week

My family didn’t do anything until Sunday, when they went to go eat breakfast and see a movie. I stayed because I had homework to finish. Once I was done I watched I Am Legend by myself. Before Sunday I went to my grandma’s house to sleepover. I played video games with my cousin for most of the day. Thanksgiving was kind of boring my mom’s husband invited some family over, I stayed in my room for the most part because I was really bored. That’s all I did during Thanksgiving week.

I agree with this statement because most bad things are done when people don’t do good things. I agree most with the second part of the statement because most bad things happen because people tell lies. People start rumors and those rumors get past along to other people. Those who pass the lie along don’t care if they’re are true or not they just spread them, and from those lies become bigger and badder. So, saying a lie is the same as doing something bad. Spreading rumors is just as bad as bullying, true or not. That’s an example of what this quote means to me.

This holiday is celebrated to give thanks for the harvest and the preceding year. Although some people celebrate it to say what they are thankful for.

What is made for the Thanksgiving dinner

Many people make the traditional feast; turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, and cranberry sauce. But, a few people decide that each family will bring their individual dish to share with one another at the feast.

History of the holiday

In the year of 1621, Thanksgiving was celebrated by Pilgrims. The feast lasted three days, according to Edward Winslow the holiday was celebrated by 90 Native Americans and 53 Pilgrims. It became a national holiday in 1863 by President Abe Lincoln.

I agree with this statement because it feels better when you’re playing fair. It feels better because if you win you know it was because you are good the sport, if you win by cheating than that means you didn’t win because you’re good it was because you cheated.

Veterans day

Veterans day is a holiday people celebrate. It takes place at the eleventh day of November. The purpose of Veterans day is to honor US veterans and victims who have died or fought in all wars. It is important to show honor for those who fought because they risked their life for us and the least we can do is pay respect and thank them for their service.

Ways to show honor for veterans day

• Stand for the pledge of allegiance                                                  
• Place flags and flowers on the veterans grave               
• Donate to USO or The Mission Continues
• Attend a Veterans Day Parade
• Post a message on social media to say thank you

Veterans day to me  is a holiday I am honored to celebrate because people who have served need to have that special day to honor what they have done.

I don’t know if I agree with or not. You do need courage to do both things. And most of the times you need to choose the right thing, but there is more things you need to have integrity. You need common sense to know what you’re doing and the consequences. I half agree with it. But other than that I think this statement is true.

I  don’t agree with this statement because fools can be made into someone what will do something in life. So many of the people that are called fools are not fools because some of them  realized their mistake and fixed it. The others just gave up because they saw no hope for them. People who are considered wise can become the person you’re disappointed in the most. I believe that wise men don’t exist neither does a fool. People are just too blind to see that and are quick to judge.

I agree with this quote because the best change you can have is a change that will do you good. If you separate recreation you end up with re which means again and creation which means to create. So in reality you’re making someone or something again. So what William Penn is trying to say is that the best change is the good change. If you want to change it is going to be good because that is the best change you can get.
